Where requested and commercially suitable, we source recycled, certified or lower-impact material options through relevant mills and suppliers.
Buyer-aligned compliance
We work with manufacturing partners capable of meeting the social, technical and compliance requirements relevant to the buyer and programme.
Documentation matters
For claims that depend on certificates, transaction documentation or supplier evidence, we work through the documentation required for the specific order.
PRACTICAL RESPONSIBILITY
Sustainability has to work commercially as well as technically.
Assess fibre, construction, print route, finish, durability, price and availability together.
Coordinate buyer-specific testing and restricted-substance requirements through the approved supply route.
Support reduced, recyclable or buyer-specified packaging options where practical.
Quality, repeatability and reliable fit are also part of reducing avoidable waste and failed product.

Gatwest is a sourcing and supply partner, not a single vertically integrated factory. Our responsibility is to select and coordinate appropriate factories, mills and materials for each buyer. We only present a specific sustainability certification or product claim where the relevant supplier, material or programme can support it with the required evidence.
